I had the opportunity today to watch my Indianapolis Colts improve on their perfect record to 6-0. It's pretty cool to be able to still watch Sunday afternoon football and seeing my Colts win.
I thought about how important Peyton Manning's new win was compared to the win that Jesus' kingdom had at today's church service. We went today to see three of our English students be baptized. It was such a joy to see their pronouncement of faith in front of about 250 others. The "perfect record" of Jesus continued as the alter call produced 12 new Christians, 2 of which were street kids. In this "imperfect world", it is amazing to see how Jesus' sacrifice still pays for the sins of the unlovely - people like the street kids, and people like you and me.
Please pray for Sandra (a street kid) who accepted Christ today, for her unborn child, her 2 year daughter and husband.
