I've spent a lot of time in the book of Deuteronomy lately and a few lessons keep coming up. I'm pretty sure that the Lord wants me to get this, because He's mentioned it so many times in this book.
-love Him with all your heart, soul, and mind
-teach your children every chance you get about my commandments
-fear the Lord
-walk in His ways
-serve Him
-observe His commands
-remember where He has brought you
-guard yourself from sin and be ruthless in dealing with it
I need bottom lines to base my life on and these commands that the Lord has given to us has impacted me greatly.
