Tonight Robin and I had the opportunity to speak at a mission's conference. The highlight of the evening was seeing a video of the 1956 story about 5 men who were killed by the Auca Indians in Ecuador. However, God used a tradgedy to bring the tribe to himself.
Leading up to the evening the highlight of the day was feeling the city of Indianapolis get excited for the Colts and Patriots game. I admit that I am a Colts fan, and I really wanted them to win. However, after being moved by the video of the brave missionaries in Ecuador, the importance I personally placed on the game quickly faded. I wonder how many Christian Colts fans will come to the same realization that this game really means nothing and living for Christ means everything. I pray that they do.
