His Will

I was listening to Chip Ingram for the first time today on a podcast - I believe he is the president of Walk Through the Bible in Atlanta.  Something that really spoke to me was his explanation of the Lord's prayer where Jesus says, "....Your will be done on earth as it is in heaven..."  He explained how he believes God's will is done in heaven - something I had never thought about!

So, how it is done in heaven?
1.    Executed completely
2.    Executed joyfully
3.    Executed immediately

Here's two contrary thoughts from John 7:17 – "God, if you'll show it to me what to do then I'll do it." – vs. "God if you show it to me then I'll consider it."

Our prayer in wanting God's will should be asked like this, " Lord, What's on your agenda?"
