One of the greatest teachings of our old church back in Indiana was the concept of put ons and put offs. This week I was reminded of this as I read about the greatest attitude of all time - Jesus. From Philippians 2 - Put on: humility, the thought that others are equal or even better than you, a genuine interest in others, obedience, profession that HE is King and that one day everyone will acknowledge it by crumbling to their knees; And put of: selfishness, the "what were you thinking?" attitude, greed, complaining, arguing, and haughtiness.
I only write this here because I was corrected by the very word of God just this week! I hope my vulnerability blesses you.
